I’ve always had a love for fashion but like most people, I also have a love for saving money. I’ve watched so many youtube videos of thrift hauls and can never seem to find the perfect pair of denim jeans or statement tops like everyone else does. After years of not being able to keep up with the current trends because of the prices, I’ve found a way around that.
There are stores that actually have name brand clothes for amazing deals that aren’t thrift stores. These stores get their clothing and accessories from other stores that have overstock or barley noticeable imperfection so they’ll send the clothes out to stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, etc..
Most people know about these stores, but always forget about them or don’t know about their extensive inventory. I always go shopping and buy pieces for full price at the mall and then end up finding them for 50-75% off at these stores.
These stores have more than just clothing, they have designer hand bags, sunnies, makeup, skincare, and home decor for up to 80% off. I went to TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack in search of some good deals to share as examples.
The skincare section is insane. They have products like Boscia, Mario Badescu, Shiseido, Clinique, and so much more for discounted prices. The aisles are pretty messy but if you look, you’ll find great stuff.
I always get the Real Techniques beauty sponge from Target for around $6 and TJ Maxx carries them for $2.
Their makeup section is messy but they have a huge selection.
This adorable Free People top was originally $70 and it’s on sale for $25 at TJ Maxx. The jeans are Levis in Wedgie for $20, originally $98.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the clothes on their website so you’ll have to go to your nearest store to see for yourself!
I fell in love with this Free People jacket that was originally $700 on sale for $200. It’s not exactly sticking to the budget theme, but it was so cute I had to share. The jeans are Good American by Khloe Kardashian for 50% off and they were so flattering.
Nordstrom Rack is my go to place for shoes because I’m a sucker for name brand shoes and they’re always on sale! My favorite shoe brands at Nordstrom Rack are Steve Madden, Marc Fisher, and Jeffrey Campbell.
Looking put together with as minimum effort as possible is what I live for and these sandals gave me that vibe. I would definitely wear a pair of sweats in these to the grocery store.
I get my false lashes at Rite Aid for $5 for one pair. Nordstrom Rack has them in 5 packs for $10. I always get mad at myself for forgetting about these stores when I run out of my everyday products.
They even have Gucci. These sunnies were $400 off the original price.
Their Michael Kors bags were only $100.
There’s so much more that I didn’t get pictures of. All of these stores sell luggage, accessories, pet supplies, electronics, and pretty much anything you can think of. TJ Maxx also has the best snack section. If you love saving money and being on trend, I’d highly recommend checking out these stores!
